Gold & Sullivan
Now I'm not knocking them for their knowledge in business but the pair of them know absolutely fuck all about football, I have said all along we need someone ITK to liase with them on players, someone who knows the game and knows a footballer as its not really happening.
We could and should have had Butland for £4 million and I have been saying this for the last year and not on his performance yesterday,he will be England's long term no 1 and could have been ours instead of the clown we have now.
Fullbacks, Jenknson cannot defend to save his life, decent going forward but his fitness at the moment s shocking for a professional athlete, Cresswell, wtf has happened? Struggled towards end of last season after looking top draw early on but this season he has fallen apart, hope it's a blip as when on song he is more than adequate.
Midfield, we have signed athletes rather than footballers apart from Payet who as good as he is gives it away far too easily in dangerous positions and with better players we might get away with it but won't with the static bunch we have around him.
Upfront, we need Austin no doubt about it but he will end up at N17 and cause carnage 😁
I understand that we have long term injuries but if we had spent our dough a bit more carefully than I really don't think we would be in this position.
Time and time again we look for bargain basement and loans but in this our special last season we should have pushed the boat out a bit, they love chirping on about this and that but in all honesty talk the talk but fail to walk the walk and it's not fuckng good enough!

You think other clubs are going to pay attention to the utter BULLSHIT Sullivan knocks out to us on podcasts, FCJ?

Cute.

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Nolan's payoff and 50 bags a week wages has had me thinking. I'm operating from the standpoint he's one of the higher paid players on the team. I know there's higher paid but not many. that puts him at 2.6 mil per yer.

Our TV and prize money from last year was 76.33 mil.

http://www.totalsportek.com/football/premier-league-prize-money-table-2015/

That's before you count a single ticket or pie sold at the ground. If you were to pay our entire 25-man squad Nolan's wages, the wage bill would only be 65 mil on the year.

can one of you cunt me off as to why I'm wrong about us having quite a bit more to spend than the owners are letting on?

Sullivan is not going to say he has 20m to spend is he. The first person you deal with will try and take the piss to rip you off.

Did you know that David Gold once nearly tricked Karen Brady into marriage?
And he would of got away with it to, if it wasn't for that Peschisolido

Here's an example of why I don't care for them.

Sullivan on the podcast says we have about 7 million left in the budget. Then their dopey boylen insider says today that we've bid 9 million on a winger.

The thing about Brooking joining would be brilliant, loves the club, is a real football man and a great administrator, bring him in

Re: Gold & Sullivan
G&S have done a great job steering the club around and signed some good players last year however their advance talking and penny pinching is not doing us any favours neither is the media stuff and tweets and all that cr*p what a waste of time and sets us back, we should really be pushing on properly getting things done quickly and decisively, I look at how Swansea quietly went about their business and got it done early, here we are still messing about trying to get a good solid squad to support the season which is dragging on and on and we have already started the season doesn't look good, let's see how the next few days pan out hope things are in place but this has not been a good month for the club, I do think time we had some more investment this is the premier league after all we would like to stay there!

If they don't pull some dramatic signings out of the bag this week there are going to be some mightily disgruntled season ticket holders baying for blood - theirs!

norwich hammer 8:48 Thu Aug 27
Re: Gold & Sullivan
The timng of signings too, we should have done our business the week before the season started and let all the other clowns fight over the scraps.

If he has £750 million he needs to spend £100 on us and that's peanuts, anyone who says it's tied up in this and that bollocks it's sitting dormant in a bank account!

I have since they came backed them but no more and I guarentee I won't be at Stratford unless they back Bilic now.

I do like Sullivan but I realy can't disagree with any of that. You realy have to wonder where he is taking us, but a lot of fans probably feel the same way abut their respective owners.

I listened to both Podcasts on Kumb with Sullivan and 2 sons...
It's amazing how he has amassed a fortune of over 700millionquid...

Mumbles...rambles...no clear incisive answers...

He says Grant was third choice and a lovrly bloke...but not the man for West Ham or a season long struggle...so why didn'he replace him...could have saved us from relegation...
...or maybe he wanted to relegate us...all part of some plan...

Completely unimpressed by him...communicator ...decision maker...knowledge of football etc...

We will always be a joke club with him...Gold and Brady running it...

Re: Gold & Sullivan
I was thinking along the same lines earlier, even with this bid for Antonio it's all micky mouse, 4.5 mil and we will give you Jarvis free for a year!
Always a fucking angle with our 2 Delboy wanna be's does my head in.
Payet well have been our primary target this year and they done well in getting him in (looks good so far but the rigors of the pl will find him out i fear)
But after that it's been nothing short of a farce imho
Ogbonna is no better than what we have
Obiang, who knows been injured (typical)
Randolph is not premier league class
Hendrie one for the future maybe
I hate moaning at my club and we have had some decent transfers in recent years but i actually think we are worse than last year at the mo as most other clubs have spent very well indeed and i'm talking about the clubs around us with the exception of maybe Sunderland and West Brom, lets wait and see

Get a Professional Director of Football in...develop a Master plan for the squad...

Or at leadt hire Brooking patt tim to advise on all football matters...including Bilic game match day lineups and subs...

Re: Gold & Sullivan
G&S knew Carroll's injury record , knew that Maiga wasn't good enough, knew that Zarate hadn't been fit enough to prove he could cut it and released Cole. So we were 2 strikers short before Valencia & Sakho got injured
Who's fault was that.

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Spiv wankers.

No sense of a strategy this summer. We invested in positions that weren't key and have pissed around on the most important ones.

In the cold light of day we have lost 2 of our best players from last season and half replaced one of them.
